Construction of 6 x 2 bedroom apartments with associated car parking, cycle parking, refuse recycling store and new vehicular access - following demolition of existing building.

This is one of the few remaining substantial detached properties on Shoppenhangers Road, that has not already been demolished to make way for one of the many blocks of apartments that dominate this thoroughfare. Although inevitable in terms of redevelopment, we object to the inadequate parking provision of only one space per 2 bedroomed flat. Although close to the railway station, substantial upmarket apartments such as these should have two spaces per dwelling. The site is generous in size and more parking could be accommodated.
