Part 2 storey / part single storey side/rear extension. New dropped kerb and side boundary treatment
Whilst we have no comment on the extensions, we are concerned at the reconfiguration of the site and the resultant changes to parking and access arrangements. Existing vehicular access, parking and garaging to the rear via Keble Road. The proposed provision of three parking spaces on the College Road frontage should not be permitted because of the proximity to the junction of College Road and Keble Road - a minimum of 10 metres is required from that corner. Furthermore, the width of the proposed dropped kerb is above the maximum permitted. Therefore, on road safety grounds we support the objections of Highways to the proposed vehicular access and parking arrangements.
