Local Heritage Maidenhead Civic Society works to encourage the preservation of buildings and places of local historical interest and importance in the Maidenhead area and has supported the study of the history, in particular, of several Grade I listed buildings from the medieval era. This has proved useful when commenting on planning applications affecting them, and, as they all have limited public access, we have provided information about them to the public via publications, illustrated talks and visits.
