Comments on Application 18/00734 - 89 Cookham Road

Single storey front/side extension, part single/part 2-storey rear extension, rear dormer and self contained annexe in rear garden.

We have commented on two previous and similar applications: 17/01587 which was withdrawn, and 17/03756 which was refused. We do not see significant modifications or improvements in this latest proposal, and believe that the planning department's reasons for refusal still apply. The bulk and mass are excessive in relation to the main house and of poor design. The development is detrimental to the outlook and daylight currently enjoyed by No 87. We believe that nothing has been done to address these issues. Therefore, we stand by our comments dated 17th January 2018 regarding application 17/03756 and continue to object to these proposals.

We note that regretfully the History Log for applications at this address is missing from the current on line files, and request that it is added to the records.
