An important part of the Civic Society’s activity is our programme of talks, outings and other social events. These help us engage our members and stimulate interest in the Society’s work and achievements. The events are open to all members and non-members – and hopefully will inspire you to join the Society if not already a member!
Generally, we have about six talks a year on topics of local and national interest; four outings to places of historic or other interest within an easy coach ride from Maidenhead, and occasional social events such as the recent reception held at Hall Place, Burchett’s Green.
Another important event in the Society’s calendar is the organisation of exchange visits with our sister organisation in the Maidenhead’s twin town of Bad Godesburg in Germany.
